Ashburn Kitchen Remodel

The client had an older, builder-grade kitchen and wanted something custom.

The Goal

The goal was to create better flow in the space while updating the appliances, the look, and the charm.

The Transformation

We transformed the kitchen from builder grade to rustic charm.

Details That Made the Difference

• We removed the corner pantry, which had been framed as part of the house, and replaced it with custom pantry cabinets in the kitchen.
• We added a wine and coffee bar on the wall adjoining the dining room.
• We repurposed a piece of furniture with a butcher block top for the island.

Challenges

The challenge was to keep the same basic layout of the old kitchen while introducing a new design.

Solution

We removed the old framed pantry and built custom cabinets with rollouts to use as the pantry, which allowed better use of the space.
